Myofascial Trigger Point Approach
Pre-Recorded
**This
webinar is now available ON DEMAND. The webinar will be available for 3
months from your date of purchase so that you can watch it at your
leisure.**
This
webinar is the fifth in a six part series on lumbo-pelvic pain. The primary
focus of this client case will be on myofascial trigger points in the gluteus
medius and minimus muscles that often mimic sciatic pain. In addition, we will
discuss the role of the iliotibial band in lateral hip pain as well.
In each
of the webinars we will take a specific case study, and go through the process
of assessment to demonstrate how we would identify this client?s complaint in a
real clinical environment. After identifying the primary cause of the complaint
Whitney will discuss and demonstrate appropriate treatment strategies for this
type of disorder.
This
design of the webinars in a case study format enables us to look at realistic
clinical signs and symptoms and apply them for creating the optimal treatment
approach. Whitney will use rich multimedia examples and interact with
participants as much as possible during the presentation.
Questions
can be submitted throughout the webinar and Whitney will attempt to address
them in context as these questions often bring up unique clinical aspects to
address each of these conditions.
